Jason was assigned to the 354th Contracting Squadron located at Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks, Alaska. After he quickly mastered purchasing supplies, Jason's superiors moved him to the construction branch where he managed multi-million dollar requirements contracts. These included a number of base pavements and architect/engineer contracts. Jason was also responsible for all base construction acquisitions under $100,000. Jason's duties encompassed the bid and selection process, coordination with base engineers, negotiation procedures, project oversight, and payment processing, among others. Jason's daily tasks required that he work hand-in-hand with base personnel and civilian contractors.

At Ellsworth, he worked with large service contracts in excess of $100,000 and served as assistant quality assurance evaluator for the government credit card program known as the International Merchant Purchase and Acquisition Card (IMPAC). Jason's involvement with IMPAC included teaching a regular training class for base personnel and auditing dozens of user accounts each month. Jason received outstanding performance reviews, numerous medals, awards, and even an early promotion for his hard work and dedication.

Jason received an A.S. in Contracts Management from the Community College of the Air Force in 1999. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City with a B.S. in Human Relations. Jason's decision to earn a social sciences degree reflects the high value he places on relationships to clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals.

Jason graduated from Stetson University College of Law earning his Juris Doctor in May of 2006. While at Stetson, he took courses in Trial Advocacy, Construction Law, Federal Income Tax, International Banking and Finance, Florida Practice, Land Use Planning, Trusts & Estates, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
